Social Media Marketing for Marketing Automation Systems
I'm the Art & User Experience Director of Argyle Social, overseeing all interface design and front-end development projects, as well as managing the corporate brand on the web and in print. The entire interface for Argyle was designed to be simple, beautiful, and above all — understandable.
Social Media Dashboard
Engagement Interface for Monitoring and Managing Social Content
The challenge of creating a social dashboard is negotiating legibility, context, and customization. This interface progressively discloses actions and rich media, while providing the user options for alerts, sounds, visual density, and contrast.
Social Content Calendar
Month, Week, and Agenda Views for Social Publishing
Social media publishers have a variety of use-cases involving time scope and relevant social properties. For this reason, I developed a customizable content calendar, allowing users to manage monthly, weekly, timeline, and agenda views as well customizable property selections and publishing automation previews.
Business Web Design
Corporate Website for Marketing, Webinars, Whitepapers, Blog Posts, & Lead Generation
To organize all of the outbound efforts for Argyle Social, I developed a marketing site that facilitated all aspects of product promotion and feature demonstration. The site also was designed to maximize the sharing, viewing, and reading of outbound materials like webinars, blog posts, infographics, and whitepapers.
Corporate Branding Systems
Logo, Logotype & Branded Systems
The custom illustrated logo for Argyle Social was designed to dramatically simplify the essential elements of the argyle pattern. The liberal use of Myriad in regular and light weights with great size differences ensures that branded collateral is as simplified, identifiable, and reproducible as possible.
Veritas Collaborative is a Specialty Behavioral Health Hospital for Treatment of Eating Disorders
I design & maintain all branded aspects of the business, produce books & brochures, and keep web interfaces beautiful, useful, and manageable.
Book & Brochure Design
Treatment Overview Catalog
The most exciting part of this set of print collateral was the custom embossing and silver foil lining the cover of the catalog. The comprehensive set includes silver-lined envelopes, a small and large book, individual brochures per hospital wing, and fly-away cover designs.
Interface Design & Development
Extended Patient Application Forms with CRM Integration
To simplify the complex and conditional medical concerns for admission, I created a set of online admission forms for Veritas Collaborative. This enables patients, parents, and healthcare providers to expedite admissions by easily providing medical history by computer, tablet, or phone.
Web Design & CMS Integration
Marketing Website for Hospital Admissions
The website for Veritas Collaborative celebrates foremost the stunning beauty of its interior architecture. The website allows patients, clinicians, and parents to find helpful resources, apply for treatment, tour the space, and peruse printed books and brochures of the facility.
Mobile & Responsive Design
Mobile-only and Mobile-optimized Website
Corporate Identity Design
Logo, Logotype & Branded Systems
The custom illustrations of the laurel for Veritas Collaborative are designed to directly translate "excellence" and maintain visual characteristics of Goudy used in the logotype. The greens, shades of silver, and lighting effects of the identity convey renewal and illumination.
Enterprise Cloud Collaboration Suite
I led interface standards & visual design for the RTP Lotus UX group at IBM. Projects included LotusLive, OneUI, and Websphere Portal
UX Design for Collaboration Software
LotusLive Application & Interface Design
I led visual design for the LotusLive UX organization, creating stunning interfaces for team collaboration — creating user interfaces for web conferencing, file-sharing, project management, and productivity tools.
UI Standards for IBM Software
IBM OneUI Interaction & Interface Standards
I led visual design for IBM OneUI, an interface standards project, in which I completely redesigned the visual design framework for IBM software, including LotusLive, Lotus Connections, Lotus Quickr, Websphere Portal, and emerging software. This is IBM's own version of interface and markup standards, and predated Twitter Bootstrap.
Corporate Intranet UI Design
Websphere Portal Proof-of-Concept Design for Sales
I created multiple themes for IBM Websphere Portal sales engagements, directly enabling to some of the largest SaaS the internet had seen to-date while working at IBM.
Web Design & Development
LotusLive Marketing Website
I designed the marketing site for IBM LotusLive, showcasing the entire suite of software-as-a-service products to prospective business customers.
LotusLive iOS UI Design
I worked with the Lotus UX team to create beautiful and efficient mobile interfaces for leveraging the power of our collaboration suite. These UIs were made to fit the natural and emerging interface standards championed by Apple and to enable the full set of desktop features for mobile users.
Front-End Framework for Full-Screen Web Applcations
Quartz UI Mobile
Responsive Design for Quartz UI
The mobile interface for QuartzUI leverages CSS3 media queries to enable content-parity between desktop and handheld interfaces. Multi-column layouts collapse, and standard navigational elements like headers and navigation become accessible via a single tap.
Art Deco Font
This font was designed as a derivative of the Rocketeer font, neutralizing some of the eccentricities specific to its unique character. Similar to many fonts developed in the early 1900s celebrating industrial growth and the machine age, Rocket Deco maintains a beautiful balance between legible proportions and the influence of machining.
Art Deco Font
Designed to reflect Italian poster design of the 1930s, Litho Deco embraces pure geometry at the sacrifice of humanist ratio ideals. Wonderful as a title font, Litho communicates the fascination with plasticism and geometry demonstrated by art movements of the early 1900s.
Professional Music Ensemble Branding
The visual identity of Sonam fuses typographic shapes of the renaissance with modern and abstracted forms of traditional music. The logo itself reflects the visual parti of a music stand and showcases shapes of musical notation — all while expressing the energy, aesthetic clarity, and strife for perfection among its performers.
